Nova Pool is a NIMIQ Cryptocurrency PoS Pool. This pool is designed to allow Nimiq Account holders to stake their Nim with our pool validator and earn rewards. You can select our Pool from the Validators in the Nimiq Wallet and start earning Nim.
The pool fee is currently 5% of rewards earned. The pool fee helps us maintain the infrastucture of the pool software and provide a stable service. The fee is taken when the pool validator earns rewards automatically.
Payouts occur after each Epoch is completed on the Nimiq blockchain. The Staking Contract updates at the start of each Epoch, so if you stake with us at Epoch #32, you will start earning during Epoch #33 and get paid once it concludes.
Currently an Epoch lasts around 12 hours.
Minimum Payout is 10 Nim. If you don't earn 10 Nim in an Epoch, it is carried over until the next Epoch.
We pay out as Stake, so that the Nim Rewards you earn go back into your staking amount, allowing you to stake more and more. The more you stake, the more rewards you'll earn.

Head to the Nimiq Wallet and login with your account. Click the Staking Icon and select the Nova Pool (Address: NQ85 EA0M YF3E P9AX SM2C 58KX GD0B SXJE K2PJ) and delegate how much Nim you would like to Stake.
You keep 100% control of your NIM that you stake inside the Nimiq Wallet. When you stake, the Nim gets locked up until you decide to unstake. Unstaking has a cooldown of around 12 hours.
If the Nova Pool goes offline, you can safely unstake your Nim at any time.
We don't have access to your staked Nim.
